This session presents policies, arguments, and partnerships that Taiwan and its regional partners have adopted to counter the impact of the global pandemic. It also demonstrates Taiwan’s substantial contribution to the development of regional partnerships in the post-COVID era by exploring the achievements and diverse partnership networks accumulated under the flagship programs of the New Southbound Policy implemented by the incumbent administration.

This session highlights the achievements of the cooperation among civil society organizations, explores potential new areas for future cooperation, and searches for effective communication mechanisms and collaborative initiatives to establish resilience in the post-COVID era.

The roundtable dialogue invites political leaders and experts with strategic or policy influence to discuss the models of regional development collaboration and global governance in the post-COVID era. This high-level strategic dialogue manifests Taiwan’s successful experience of epidemic control and what Taiwan can help in the future.
